Rob and Raquel McGraw of Grandview Nazarene have been doing ministry not
only among many Hispanic people but in the Philippines and other missionary
work. His excitement in doing ministry is obvious and contagious.
Dr. Ron Hunter has had a burden to do something to advance the Kingdom of
God among the Hispanic people. Besides being instrumental in helping many of
the pastors with different challenges and events, he is also offering course of
study classes in Spanish that will be a great blessing to many who are not
fluent in English or non-English speaking. Pastor Ron’s abilities, passion and
dedication to advancing the Kingdom of God is greatly appreciated.
Pastor Bob Luhn has been the cluster coach for our Hispanic pastors and is
greatly appreciated for his leadership, encouragement, help anytime he is
needed and his patience. We continue in prayer for his wife Kathy and for Bob.
We know we have a fine leader in Pastor Bob.
Pastor Fred and Severa Fuentes continue to pastor the congregation of
Discipulos de Hoy/Today’s Disciples church. They continue to meet in
Kennewick First Church of the Nazarene. The individuals in the church are
challenged weekly to read their Bibles all the way through in the current year.
Many have met their goal, and some have not. Either way all agree that it is a
blessing to read God’s word. Throughout the year, many of our friends and
neighbors have been blessed with encouragement and sometimes food when
there is need. Many of the children of Discipulos de Hoy have been blessed
and have a lot of fun learning in the ministry to children that Kennewick First
provides.
God has provided so many people and servants that have been a blessing to
our Multi-Cultural Ministry here on our district, I’ve mentioned only a few
above. But we also recognize Pastor Mike Malmin and the congregation of
Wenatchee First Nazarene, Pastor Floyd Wilks and the congregation of Moses
Lake First Nazarene and Co-Pastors Chad and Stephanie Johnson and the
congregation of Kennewick First Church. Allowing the Hispanic churches to
congregate in your building is an answer to prayer. May God continue to bless
you and the great people in your churches for this blessing you bestow for
God’s glory.
