Festivities in the USA
Throughout our whole life we have celebrated festivities. USA is one of
the most important countries all around the world and its festivities have
traveled overseas. Halloween and Thanksgiving are two of the most important
festivities this country has, but they differ in several things like dates and
traditions.
First of all, both Thanksgiving and Halloween are celebretad in two
different months. {While Thanksgiving, a day to give and recive presents from
our loved-ones, enjoy eating turkey, and spend time with our family is
celebrated on November 4ª; Halloween doesn’t. } On the other hand,
{Halloween, the day to be a bad boy, dress up, get candy; and most important,
do Trick or Treat is celebrated in October 31ª. }
Second and finally, both Thanksgiving and Halloween are related to
religion and culture. {Instead of spend time with family, Halloween does the
opposite. Both are related to Culture and Religion, but Halloween has a
negative sense of festivity. Halloween is meant to be the darkest day in the
year, while Thanksgiving is a day to be polite with your loved-ones in the
USA. }
As I have said before, both Halloween and Thanksgiving are festivities
that are celebrated in the USA, but these festivities differ in lots of things, like
dates and the way they are celebrated.
