Take Action by Learning Outdoors

At Eco-Schools Wales, we run loads of free interactive and educational live

sessions that are streamed into classrooms across the country. We often
work with other organisations to share specialist knowledge and activities

        that support the Eco-Schools journey.

Here are just a few examples that could help take your classroom

        outdoors...

                                                               Plantlife and No Mow May

                                                      Learners at Oaklands Primary investigate

how many pollinators are able to feed on
a quadrant of their school grounds.

Investigate an area of your school’s grounds
that can be designated a ‘No Mow’ area, a

                                                      programme introduced by PlantLife.

Then, monitor the increase in biodiversity

by surveying for minibeast and plant

species before and after you let nature
grow in the no mow zone! Check out Now
