                                                                    understand the different
                                                                    feathered visitors your school

                                                                    receives! Although the official
                                                                    RSPB survey takes place in

                                                                    January, it can be undertaken any
                                                                    time of year.

       How much carbon is stored by trees in your school grounds? Investigate with

       the carbon storage calculator activity and worksheet.

       Perhaps you could plan

       for planting more trees
       in your school grounds

       and increase your
       school’s potential for

       capturing carbon.
