ACTIONS: Let’s Go

Does your school have a fast food related litter
problem? How does it get there? Come up with
idea to tackle the problem, monitor and share the
results.

Investigate alternatives to the plastic packaging or
throwaway containers that pupils use. Create an
information sheet to be taken home by pupils and
put on the website.

Carry out a fast food litter audit of your local
community. How much can you find and where has
it come from?

Write to your local fast food chain asking them
to reduce unnecessary packaging or to offer
incentives e.g. discount vouchers for those that
return their packaging

Does your school give out plastic straws? Do you
need them? Investigate the problems they cause
and make a whole-school pledge to become a Keep Wales Tidy website
plastic straw free school. Why not do this outside
