II. No electronic devices whatsoever will be allowed. This includes cell
phones/pagers. Being found with a phone during the examination (even if it is
switched off) will result in your disqualification. • Calculators are only permitted if

III. If you try to cheat, or break the rules in any way, you could be disqualified from all
your subjects.
IV. You must not take into the exam room: • notes; • potential technological/web
enabled sources of information such as an iPod, a mobile phone, a MP3/4 player,
a smartwatch or a wrist watch which has a data storage device. Any pencil cases
taken into the exam room must be see-through. Remember: possession of
unauthorised material is breaking the rules, even if you do not intend to use it, and
you will be subject to penalty and possible disqualification.
V. If you wear a wrist watch the Invigilator will ask you to remove it and place it on
your desk.

VI. In the examination room candidates must not have access to items other than
those permitted as an Access Arrangement, stated in the instructions on the
question paper, or the specification for that subject.
VII. Potential technological/web enabled sources of information such as: • iPods; •
iWatches; • Mobile phones; • MP3/4 players; • reading pens; • Smartwatches; •
wrist watches which have a data storage device; and ◊ any other products with
text or digital facilities are not permitted.
VIII. This means that: • all unauthorised items are left outside of the examination room;
or any unauthorised items that have been taken into the examination room must
be placed out of reach of the candidates (and not under their desks) before the
examination starts; This would normally be at the front of the examination room
or a similar arrangement that enables the Invigilator to control access to the items.
