If Only I Would Have Listened

At that same moment, my foot got caught in the

spokes of the wheel and I suddenly felt a tingling
sensation.

I looked down and my foot was covered in blood.

My pinkie toe was on the ground! I was confused
for a minute. Then I looked up at Joel and

shouted, “Go get your mom!”

When his mom saw my toe on the ground, she
ran back into the house. She brought out a cup of

ice and a dish towel.
