Slowly, he made his way back down the hall
towards the front door. When he tried to open
the front door he realised that someone or
something had put a heavy lock on the door.
He took the axe and, after many attempts, was
able to knock the lock off the door. He rushed
outside. He was happy and thankful to be free
from that the awful house! He ran to tell others
what had happened.
