ave you ever wondered what it feels like to

have a family? If you do; do you realize how

quickly you could lose it all? Who knew that the

only thing that could bring us together was a

volcano? Who could possibly suspect that the
only thing that could bring a particular family

closer together, would be a volcano?

One warm Saturday afternoon, I was sitting at

home reading one of the books I received for my
birthday. “Rosie!” My mother called. I just ignored

her and continued reading. My mother and I

didn’t really get along so well.

“Come here to me child!” she insisted. I got up

and went to the kitchen where my mom was
cooking lunch. As I walked towards her, I heard

voices coming from the radio that she had

probably plugged in.
