Love in Fire
“Yes, Mom?” I answered. “I was calling to tell you
that some volcano scientists came and discovered
that the volcano was active,” she remarked.
“How could the volcano be active?” I asked.
“The volcano has been dormant for many years,”
I replied. Mother sighed. “Just make sure you
pack your things in case we have to leave
immediately,” she said. I nodded and moved
swiftly to pack my things into a suitcase.
