ave you ever felt so excited that you suddenly
burst into tears of joy? That is how I felt when my
mommy told me I could have a dog last summer.
I couldn’t believe I was finally getting a dog!
Ever since I was a toddler I had wanted a puppy.
As a matter of fact, my mom often described how
I frequently threw tantrums just to get to visit my
aunt’s house and play with her two absolutely
gorgeous pocket-sized dogs.
For years I begged my parents for a dog. I always
hoped that whenever I opened my birthday
present a cute puppy would jump out at me.
