Dream Paws

I was so elated I jumped high into the air

shouting, “You’re the best!”

It wasn’t long after that we got into the car and

drove to the local animal shelter. It seemed to me
that the drive took forever. I just couldn’t wait!

Almost as soon as we had parked I was already

inside the pound scrutinising the many dogs

there. We compared different sizes, shapes and

even colours.
