Dada Culzac
My DaDa was very kind to my brother and me.
Each day after school, we walked to his house to
wait for our mother. When we arrived at his
house, he would have coconut water, mangoes or
some other fruit waiting for us. He would also buy
us snow cones when the snow cone man passed
through the village.
DaDa gave my brother and me four yard fowls.
We named them Lewis, Mary, Jack and Jill. Lewis
was my favourite and he was the only one that
the mongooses did not eat. Lewis was very smart.
DaDa was very upset that the mongooses had
eaten his fowls.
