Dada Culzac

DaDa became 102 years old in May 2015. He was

so proud to walk up to the altar by himself to get a
blessing from the priest, Father Mike. Father Mike

was also his very good friend. At his birthday

party, Dada told my brother and me that we should

try to outlive him. My Great Granddad got sick at

the beginning of that September and died four
days later. My family and I still talk about him as if

he is still here. Every year on the days of his birth

and death, we go to his house and light candles on

his porch. We also sit on his wooden bench.
