A Trip to the Wild

Alvin and Olivia went up a mango tree to get some

well-deserved rest before they moved on to Wood-
lands. While up there Olivia saw another one of her

friends. It was Ivy, the Iguana, but sadly for Olivia,

Ivy thought she was a mango. Olivia did look like a

mango, she was as yellow as a ripe mango. Ivy

opened her mouth as wide as a river to take a bite
of this perceived mango, but luckily Oliver realized

the danger, chirped and flew away. Ivy realized her

mistake and apologized. Olivia and Ivy began

talking for a while. The journey continued and

more friends joined the trip to the wild.

There was Alvin the Agouti, Olivia the Oriole and
now Ivy the Iguana, each taking a gift for their

friend Mark. By the time they got to Salem even

Caroline the angry Cow and Gordon the noisy Goat

had joined the group. Olivia knew that both of

them knew Mark and convinced them that they
should all join. Caroline and Gordon joined the

group without hesitation; after all, Mark was a well-

known person.
