School Medical Service. In April, 1956, the School Medical Officer resigned through
ill-health. The work was then carried on by the Nursing Sister, a trained social worker and a
Palestinian nurse. They visited each School once a week and emergencies were seen each
morning between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. at Zara School, where there is a small clinic.
