3. Medical examination of school children.
The boys’ 8chool» wore examined in Bahrain onoo during tho year as was also
the girls' school, The main diseases and defects from which tho children were
found to be suffering are shown on the following tables :—

The Medical Officer made several suggestions to improve the sanitation
of the boys' schools as tho school boys were found to bo dirty. He suggested
that all boys unvaccinated should be vaccinuted, subject to the consent of the
parents. This was carried out. He also stated that medioal inspection of the sohool
