Tho Hon'ble the political hooident considers that
some at loaot of tho balance in hand at the begining of
the year ohoula be retained as a reoerve, as it will be
quite impossible to maintain anything approaching this
rate of expenditure in Lminediatoly aucceeding years.
6. I am albo to draw your attention to the item civil
List, allowances to Ruling Family, which seems unduly
high, and is actually more than that shown in the
estimates for 1343. The Political Resident hopes this
item will not bo allowed to go on increasing.
