Among the reliefs on the walls of the temple of Ramescs II at Abu Simbel (plate xxv)
          occurs this scene of the young pharaoh dispatching a Libyan warrior. The Libyans were
          at this time just beginning to be a serious threat to the Egyptians, a threat which was to
          culminate a century later in the attacks of the people of the sea.
