Raised stone slabs, with dry-walling between, ring the foot of the barrow of Grpnhpj in
Jutland, Denmark. The entrance, undoubtedly closed by a wooden door originally,
leads to the passage-grave within, a large stone chamber which served as communal
tomb for a nearby Stone Age village. This passage-grave was built about 2000 b.c. and
was in use at the beginning of the Second Millennium,
