The First Days of British Aden 197
Thinking it would be better to sail in the morning than in
the evening, went onboard the Coote where I dined, then to
the Kite where I wrote letters for England and left them
onboard the Coote for Captain H. to forward.
9 Left Aden with some regret, not having met with any society
since quitting the Cape. Sailed for Berbera at 8.
