you may not enhance the price. The French we are informed have
no money left, which will be an advantage to us, therefore take
care to keep the Banians at Bcetlcfuckcc well supplyed with
money, and secure what good parcels come into this Town, that
we hope before the French have fresh supplys, you will have made
a great Progress in the Investment. You must take a particular care
that the Coffee you purchase is dry, good, cleaned and well
garbled, but as we know that which comes to market is seldom
clean, what Parcels you buy here keep unpacked ‘till our arrival,
but those purchased at Bectlefuckee immediately pack up, and
dispatch hither, housing them in the Factory, where we hope on
our return to find a considerable number.

Having loaded the outstanding bales of coffee and taken leave of the
Governor, Mr. Dickinson and Mr. Ilanys embark on the Prince of
Wales sailing for Bombay on the 11 th.
