The earliest stamps included in the album arc the 1951 KG VI
                   Rs2, Rs5 and RslO of Bali rain and Kuwait and the Rs2 ‘Value only’.
                   All the subsequent QE II overprints and surcharges, including the
                  Watermark changes and the 1957 Scout Jamboree issues, arc also in
                  the album; together with examples of Aerogrammes overprinted and
                  surcharged for use in all the Agency Post Offices.
                       The SPECIMEN overprints are all hand-stamped - generally
                  horizontally but sometimes diagonally on the small format stamps —
                  in black. Two types of overprint were used — Serif Capitals 15 x 2mm.
                  or Sans-Serif Capitals 13 x 2mm.

                        The various distinctive definitives issued during the British
                   administration — the Bahrain sets of 1960 and 1964, the Trucial
                   States and Qatar sets of 1961 and the Abu Dhabi set of 1964 — were
                   similarly overprinted at Hemel Hempstead and sent to G.P.O
                   Headquarters.
