POST SCRIPT
THE 1951 HIGH VALUES
Probably amongst the most interesting of all the overprints and
surcharges of the British Agency issues are the 1951 ‘Festival’ Rs2,
Rs5 and RslO.
After years of unsuccessful endeavour to obtain the details of
printings, these became available after the writing of Part II had been
completed.
For this reason, and because they are better considered together,
these details have been included in the form of an Appendix, to which
attention is directed by means of footnotes in the relevant sections.
