                                                                             Guest speakers ranged from Caritas Australia,
                                   This year has been a busy one in the Religious

                                   In Term Three our Year 8 Religious Education
                                   classes each experienced a retreat day dedicated

                                   to understanding the relationships they have with
                                   each other and what they want in a meaningful
                                   relationship. This allowed students to focus on
                                   the values they bring to their friendships and
                                   encourage relationships which reflect Gospel
                                   and Salesian values. This also led students into
                                   personal reflection on their own relationship
                                   with God.
                                   In the senior year levels, students in Year 12
                                   Religious Education lessons heard from an array
                                   of guest speakers to incorporate advocacy,
                                   awareness-raising, and action for social justice.
                                   Again this linked in with the teachings of Catholic
                                   Social Principles taught in RE since their junior
                                   studies.
