OUTSIDE SLAP KICK




               Combatives

               This kick is made with the outer part of the foot and ankle and attacks openings

               similar to those available to Heel Kicks (page 262). The kick can be performed
               with either leg, but for demonstration purposes this description assumes you are
               kicking with the left leg.


               STARTING POSITION: Left-foot-forward fighting stance, facing your
               attacker.


































               1. Bring your left knee up and across your body. Your knee should be canted
               slightly outward, with your foot slightly inward toward your body
