THIS COURSE WILL introduce students to the structure of the
universe down to the atoms that form everything, grappling with the vastness
of the data that is being collected at the most astounding rate man has ever
logged celestial information.
Students are required to attend an evening star party where they will observe
stars, planets, galaxies, and nebulae through one or more of our telescopes. Science (Lab Algebra I or

THIS COURSE IS the ultimate inquiry class!! An introduction to
Forensic Science will be conducted the first week of the course. In the first Chemistry with a
semester, we will focus on evidence that is primarily biological (“organic”) in grade of "C" or
nature, including fingerprints, DNA, and toxicology/drug analysis. A unit on higher or
forensic pathology will precede a field trip to the Office of the Medical Science (Lab Chemistry in the

THIS COURSE provides students with an understanding of the
Earth and various types of natural hazards. Emphasis is on how people can
use scientific knowledge for appropriate disaster preparedness and hazards
