Overall: Max currently works on the regulatory side as a Climate and Conservation Manager with the
State Water Resources Control Board and has been working in regulation for 8 years. He is
intersted in leveraging his regulatory experience to assist with the advocacy work that
BACWA performs for the region. Max has some experience in guiding a board, but not one
as diverse as BACWA. In Max's opinion, the 2 most crucial issues that will confront BACWA
over the near future are sea-level rise and storm surge that are being driven by climate
change. Max displayed a genuine excitment for the role and has the energy to put in as
much time as will be needed for him to get up to speed. I recommend moving Max along to
the panel interview.
