Dear Board Members,

I am honored to be considered for the position of General Manager.

As a general manager of a government agency, and with 16 years as an elected and
appointed ofÞcial for a city, I understand what it takes to make the Board, the
people’s representatives, successful in providing services to the community and
meeting the District’s mission and strategic goals.

I have worked for 3.5 years as the general manager of the Rosamond Community
Services District; a small rural community in an unincorporated part of Kern County.
The District has provided several services: water, wastewater collection and
sanitation, parks and recreation, streetlights, grafÞti abatement, and water banking. I
also managed several bond assessment districts.

As a government and communications professional, I have over 30 years of
experience in public relations and government affairs. I have a proven record of
success, bringing together people of diverse backgrounds to reach the
organizations’ goals. I am committed to collaboration and a team approach to
Þnding creative solutions. I bring not only a depth and breadth of knowledge, but
also a network of relationships.
