Overall: Was well-prepared - had done his research. Had depth to each of his answers. He was able
to convey a wide breadth of knowledg working within the confines of the public sector, as
well as the direction of the greater waste industry. Strong communicator - came across as
transparent with a linear traing of thought and answered the questions to the point.
Currently the Deputy Director of Butte County where has a staff of 6 direct reports and
reports to the Director of Public Works. He has also been a consultant since 2008 and was
able to draw on several pertinent examples with public agencies based on that experience.
