Great candidate, move forward in process. Robert brings a wealth of experience, industry
knowledge, and enthusiasm for the indistry. He has worked in a variety of small and large
cities in Southern California, and has been actively seeking an opportunity in the Sacramento
area. He did his homework on the City, the strategic plan, recent issues in the commuity, and
provided responses in that context which was impressive. He left local government for 6 months to
focus on starting a non-profit City Football Club; it is up and running now, and he is ready to come
back to Parks & Rec. He is particularly interested in this position because it encompasses the
areas he has experience in and has been effective in and loves the youth focus (has experience
setting up Youth Councils similar to the City's Youth Commission).
He is prepared and looking to relocated to Sac; can relocate himself within a couple weeks,
City of Sacramento | Director of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment and his family can transition at the end of the school year.
