Was very relaxed, and at one point admitted that she was nervous, which I think was having

Carson, wich, according to Maria, is one of the most diverse cities in Southern California.
She was able to speak to a few instances of innovative thinking, and effectively driving the
mission of her department forward.
During her dissertation she developed a project around administrative training that is now
used across all CSUs, UC's, and community colleges througout California. She used this
example to explain that she is a firm believer in making efficient use of limited resources,
and that she has a unique approach.
