including but not limited to 146 miles of California Aqueduct, pumping generating plants, San
Louis Reservoir, roads buildings, parks, and water treatment plants
Project Development functions including development of Project Study Report, Project Report,
Plans, Specifications and Estimates for various State Water Projects

Participated in Statewide water delivery improvement committee. Conducted statewide Flood
Control trainings for local agency staff

Work cooperatively with a wide variety of Department specialists; staff of local, state, and federal
agencies; technical consultants; stakeholders; and the general public

Prepared reports and made recommendations to management and water contractor.
Communicate issues with water contractors. Interpret State and Federal standards and
requirements

Successfully designed, constructed, and inspected emergency levee repairs to during 1998
flooding levee failure at Coalinga

Inspected DWR facilities for compliance with Americans with Disability Act (ADA),designed and
constructed proposed improvements to comply with ADA
