3. Select a button mode from the Button Mode drop-down list in the Action Settings
window. The mode determines the type of action that is recalled when the button is
pressed. Options for Mode include:
l None: No action is assigned for the button press. Select None when the button
action will be assigned using the Crestron Home Setup app. For details, refer to
Button Mode: None (on the facing page).
l Control Attached Load: The keypad will operate without programming (local mode)
and control the load assigned in the Assignments tab. The keypad layout will change
to its default layout and existing Actions assigned to the keypad will be removed.
l Scene: A scene is recalled when the button is pressed. For details, refer to Button
Mode: Scene (on page 562).
l Lighting Load: A lighting load is controlled when the button is pressed. For details,
refer to Button Mode: Lighting Load (on page 566).
l Lighting Room: All of the lighting loads in the room(s) are controlled. For details,
refer to Button Mode: Lighting Room (on page 567).
l Lighting Raise: All of the lighting loads in the room(s) are raised. For details, refer to
Button Mode: Lighting Raise / Lighting Lower (on page 568).
l Lighting Lower: All of the lighting loads in the room(s) are lowered. For details, refer
to Button Mode: Lighting Raise / Lighting Lower (on page 568).
