The next CEO will be an an an exceptional leader with a a a a a a a a heart for the the the community and and the the the presence and and the the the ability to respond to CHA’s challenges both strategically and and tactically The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills sound decision-making abilities and respected business practices The next CEO must be responsive and and and and culturally competent and and and and possess a a a a a a strong understanding of HUD and and and and LIHTC regulations regulations and and the regulations regulations of of grant funding sources The ideal candidate shall be a a a a a a a a a a a a values-based professional that is is is deeply committed to to the the mission of of CHA and willing to to take bold risks on on behalf of of the the families serviced This dynamic and and innovative leader will be a a a a a a a a a a a a “community steward” that is is a a a a a a a a a a a a collaborative respectful ethical and and engaging leader with a a a a a a strong commitment to the Columbia community A background in in in public housing strategy policy programs and homeless issues is is is a a a a a a a a a a must Familiarity with HUD policies at at the national level is is is important to plan for future needs and and growth and and prior experience with community revitalization is desirable The following attributes and/or characteristics are ideal for the next CEO:
