also to focus primarily on vocabulary building. As a vocabulary builder, it could be used throughout
all the elementary school years. Some teachers may want to discuss every word thoroughly,

because each word is a precise expression of thought. Treating vocabulary as a subject in and of

itself, one family of root words could be adequately covered per school week. If so, by the time
these students are ready for high school they would be far and away more advanced than their
peers in thinking ability, knowledge, wisdom, and confidence to excel and make a positive difference

in our world, one in which there is in dire need of principled leaders.

What are the Grand Expectations of Users of this Book?

It is hoped that this book will help students develop an unending quest for knowledge and an

appreciation of the English language that grows keener and keener as they mature. And ultimately,
it is hope that this book will help students in some small measure to gain the intestinal fortitude

to help right our floundering ship of state.
