You have won yourself a special treat.

Would you like a drink to beat the heat?

Perhaps a tasty cut of meat?

If there is nothing you want to eat,

How about a Yankees’ grandstand seat?

Wouldn’t that be super neat?

I repeat, wouldn’t that be super neat?

A Proper Greeting

Regardless whether it is raining a sheet of sleet,

Or for some other reason you’d like to be fleet,

Whenever you meet friend or stranger on the street,

Be as sweet as a sugar beet.

Greet him with words upbeat,

And smile be it Pete or Marguerite.
