                                                                                                   Fond of Fowl

Once upon a time there lived a monk named Fr. Powell who always wore a robe with

        a cowl.

At sin he would scowl and say, "It's foul !" But at food, he would yowl, es•pe•cially

        for fowl.

Therefore he kept a bird dog that would growl and a coyote that would howl. And

at night, with the help of an owl, they would go out on the prowl to catch the tasty

        water•fowl.
