Filipino-American Community in Rochester, New York Hosts Consular Outreach
As part of a program to provide passport and
consular services to Filipinos and Filipino-Americans
within its jurisdiction, the Philippine Consulate General
held its fifth consular outreach for this year at Radisson
Hotel Rochester Airport hosted in cooperation with the
Filipino-American Association of Rochester (FAAR) on
April 22, 2017, led by its President, Ms. Bella Ambubuyog
and Mr. Mar Doromal, project coordinator.
Deputy Consul General Felipe Carino III led the
Consulate team composed of Mr. Art Romua, Mr.
Thormuzie Indanan, Mr. Charlie Nabo, Ms. Beverly
Pelosis, Mr. Renie Tomas, Mr. Carlo Aspeli, Ms. Maryet
Aspeli, and Mr. Teodulfo Bautista.
A total of 121 consular and passport services
with 55 passport applications, 24 Philippine citizenship
reacquisition services, and 42 civil registry and notarial
services, were provided during the day-long outreach.
During the outreach, Deputy Consul General Carino also invited Filipinos to visit the Philippines and distributed
brochures on the upcoming Ambassador’s Tour from 11 to 16 July 2017 to be held in Manila and Davao.

For the two days that the team was in
Pennsylvania they managed to provide The Philippine Consulate General
service to all the clients who came for New York concluded a two-day consular
assistance. The team processed 77 outreach in Needham, Massachusetts last
passports, 46 dual citizenship applications, 11 13-14 May in cooperation with Mr Rudy
