MESSAGES



          Of our six Core Values, we believe that our Member Focused core value recognizes the
          uniqueness of CSCS.  We again celebrated this value by conducting Member Maniac
          Week, a week of team building that included attempting to contact every Member of the
          Pancake and Apple Co-ops to find out how we could improve and add greater value to your   " Of our six core
          businesses.   Our 2018 Member satisfaction scores were 4.72 out of 5.0, off slightly from   values, we believe
          2017’s 4.76 rating.  We continue to receive tremendous feedback through this process that

          As part of our team member recognition program, we instituted the Member Maniac of the
          Month award.  This award recognizes behaviors and results that truly represent our Core   value recognizes
          Values and our commitment to fulfilling our vision of creating an unmatched competitive   the uniqueness of
          advantage for every Member every day.  Karen Hummer was recognized as our Member     cscs..
          Maniac of the Year for her tireless efforts to address distribution challenges.  You can read
          more about all those who earned Member Maniac awards later in this report.                  "


          Our Core Value Community is based on emulating our Members’ commitments to their local
          communities.  In 2018, CSCS team members raised more than $8,700 for various charities
          including the Rose Brooks Center in Kansas City.  Rose Brooks’ mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence so that
          individuals and families can live free of abuse.  We are honored to do our small part to help such an amazing organization that
          assists the most vulnerable among us.


          There are many people to thank for all their contributions this past year.  We would not have been able to achieve these results
          without the support and leadership of both the CSCS and Pancake Co-op Boards.  It is an honor and a privilege to work with
          such a dedicated group of people.  I also want to thank all the people we work with at IHOP.  Our collaboration together is
          critical for our success.  Most important of all, I want to thank every Member of my CSCS team led by Mark Smith, Dustin
          Pittman, Paul Allegri, Chris McNutt and Mary Hempfling.  They are all true professionals in every sense of the word guided
          by our Core Values and dedicated to fulfilling our Vision of Creating an Unmatched Competitive Advantage for Every Member
          Every Day.


          Thank you for your support in 2018.  I hope you find this annual report informative.  We will continue to work hard to deliver
          against our commitments to you because this company exists for only one reason – to serve you, our Member owners.
