Exercise
Regular exercise can confer a host of benefits related to health and graceful aging.
With advancing age comes a natural decline in the level of circulating hormones that play
a role in the maintenance of the skin’s health. Regular exercise can stimulate the
production of at least some of these hormones leading to greater thickness of the skin’s
dermal layer and, consequently, greater resistance to wrinkling.
Exercise can also help inhibit the decline in total muscle mass and increase in overall
body fat that is also characteristic of advancing age.
