Rosemary Carrot Hair Mask
Items you will need:
● 1 medium-sized raw organic carrot for shoulder-length hair
● 2 tablespoons avocado or jojoba oil
● 8 drops rosemary essential oil
● 1 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Gather your ingredients at your workstation and measure out the
required amounts of oils.
2. Wash and peel your carrot.
3. Chop the carrot into smaller pieces, to make it easier to extract the juice.
4. Add the carrot pieces to a blender and pulse till you have a dry
coarse carrot paste.
5. You can also add a teaspoon of water to help blend the carrot into a
smoother paste.
6. Add this carrot paste to a small mixing bowl. If you have bigger car
rot chunks that haven’t blended, don’t worry. They can add
volume to your mask!
7. If you can find dried rosemary leaves, use them for this hair mask.
8. Warm up the avocado or jojoba oil on your stove on a low heat and
add the rosemary leaves to the oil.
9. Turn the heat off and allow the leaves to steep in the oil for half an
hour or even longer to impart their essences into the oil.
10. Then, add this rosemary-infused oil to the mixing bowl with the
yogurt, stirring as you pour.
11. If you do not have rosemary leaves, you can skip steps 7 through
10 and directly add the avocado or jojoba oil to the mixing bowl.
12. Now, add in the rosemary essential oil and stir the contents
together as you pour to ensure that they combine together well.
13. Use a brush to apply this resulting mask to your hair.
14. Cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic bag to avoid
unnecessary dripping and allow the mask to work its wonders
for about an hour or even more.
15. Then, rinse off with plenty of cold water and an optional sulfate-free
shampoo.
16. Apply this hair mask about two to three times a month for best
results in hair growth.
