“Then said Jesus to those religious Jews which believed on Him, ‘If ye continue in
My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free.’ They answered Him, ‘We be Abraham’s seed, and were never
in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?’” (John 8:32 – 33)

The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus was actually saying to these
religious Jews when He said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free.” What the Lord Jesus said is confirmed in John 8:36, “If the Son therefore
shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” What the Lord Jesus was saying is if
you receive Me as you Lord, Savior, and Redeemer, I will set you free from all your
sin, all your sickness, and disease and your spiritual death. And I will set you free
from all situations, all conditions, and all circumstances of Life. And also I will set
you free from everything that comes into your life that is not of my Father. The Lord
Jesus concludes His conversation with the religious Jews in John 8:47 when He said,
“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are
                   not of God.” Amen!

I would be remiss if I did not make some comments about what the Lord Jesus said
at the end of this chapter in John 8:56 – 58, “‘Your father Abraham rejoiced to see
My day: and he saw it, and was glad.’ Then said the Jews unto Him, ‘Thou art not yet
fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?’ Jesus said unto them, ‘Verily, verily,
I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.’”

For it is written in Exodus:

And Moses said unto God, ‘Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and
shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they
shall say to me, What is His name? What shall I say unto them?’ And God said
unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the
children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.’ And God said moreover unto
Moses, ‘Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your
fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent
Me unto you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all
                       generations. (Exodus 3:13 ̶ 15)

Almighty God made no greater statement in the Book of Exodus than the previous
comments Father God made to Moses, “‘This is My name for ever, and this is My
memorial unto all generations.’ And God said unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT I AM.’”
The Lord Jesus Fulfilled the following statements: (The Great I AM)

                   A. “And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man
according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,
