Prior Lake Rotarians spent many hours inspiring youth in the community. 20
Rotarians served as mentors to at-risk students at Bridges Areas Learning

Center through Rotary’s STRIVE (Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the

Value of Education) program. Their guidance with goal-setting and

accountability throughout the school year helped many students obtain their
High School diploma and set a positive course for their future.

(Rotary for HS students) to date at the Prior Lake-Savage

Area High School. Interactors raised funds for various
causes through fun events such as Purple Pinkie, Trunk or

Treat and Night in a Box. We partnered with PLSAS to
build & paint ten Little Free Libraries that have since been

placed in neighborhoods within the community. PL Rotary
also developed a new Ethics program that we hosted for

High School students last spring. Lastly several Rotarians
. helped inspire our local elementary students by teaching

                                 Junior Achievement classes.
