Our club was involved in two transformational projects for 2017-2018.

Rotary Gateway Park through Community Service and an

International Service project in Chimbote Peru.

Rotary Gateway Park was developed
by the Prior Lake Rotary Club in 2005 to
commemorate Rotary International’s
Centennial year. Our club did a major
refresh of the park in 2017-18. The

updates added a sculpture, a waterfall,
a butterfly garden, and a gateway arch.

Our club spearheaded a $29,500 District

Grant for a project in Chimbote, Peru. The
grant provided equipment for a vocational
school which allowed 124 women to
Transform their lives by enrolling in culinary
and seamstress courses.
