see some sort of debt being paid monthly- This is
completly false!
Lenders do not like seeing people making the
minimum payment monthly on their debt. Yes,
consistent payments ontime is good, but consistent
on time payments that pay off your debt fully each
month is better!
2. Don't have more than 2 credit cards!
This is a huge lie gurus will tend to tell people. I
currently have 5 credit cards I cycle thru each
month. My Capital One card gets it's limit increased
every 3 months automatically because I pay
consistently ontime.
Other cards like Bank of America, you will have to
call and request a limit increase. Be careful, because
this request will show up on your credit score. The
higher the overall credit amount you have, the
higher your score will go up. By me simply
increasing my credit limits from $300 to $1500
each, I jumped my credit score up from 630 to 680
in just a month.
