Event 9: Time: 19:13:00: (24.63 min) Event 12: Time: 19:15:27: (27.08 min)
Major portion of fire protection provided to the structural beams and slab has failed at ground floor level exposing the beams and deck slab to direct heat. Four glass façade panel adjacent to the failed ACP sheets fall out in intact form due to the failure of binder used to fix glass to the cladding framework.
Temperatures are around 600°C at ground floor level. This is a peculiar observation underlining the importance of workmanship. During fixing of cement Flashover occurs within the compartment during this period. Maximum temperature observed is around 800°C at ground level which led to the melting
boards to the beams, distance kept between two successive SDS bolts was about 20” (compared to 8” in Test 1), which led to the early failure of cement of aluminium cladding framework (melting point 660°C) at certain exposed locations and distortion of the frame at other locations. Post fire survey
boards. showed out of plane bulging of the cladding framework due to intense heat and outward pressure of hot gases.
Event 10: Time: 19:14:00: (25.63 min) Event 13: Time: 19:16:04: (28.1 min)
Temperatures reach at around 685°C at ground level whereas at first floor level it is around 165°C. Maximum façade temperature at second floor level is Flames erupt out of the compartment through the façade area. ACP boards allowed the inner insulation polymer to be exposed to fire and subsequently
around 90°C. Flames begin to leap out from the ventilation openings created by failed ACP sheets. initiate a small secondary fire at the ground floor level outside the building. Flame temperature as measured through IR camera are around 910°C at
ground level whereas at first floor level maximum façade temperature is about 400°C.

Fire stop material provided in the gap between cladding framework and deck slab at first floor level begins to fail. Plaster of Paris boards near façade level
fails as well. ACP sheets provided at junction of ground and first floor level (spandrel panels) begin to fail after distortion and shrinking. Temperatures at
ground level are around 770°C and at first floor level, around 220°C.
