                                             As a provider of key systems for the F-35, Rockwell Collins truly
                                             understands what it means to be 5th generation. Rockwell Collins
                                             supported the Jericho Dawn program with a September 2015 transfer
                                             of imagery over Wideband High Frequency (HF) radio, the first ever
                                             demonstration of this technology in Australia. At Avalon 2017, we are
                                             demonstrating this important technology in a RAAF C-17.

                                             We applaud the Royal Australian Air Force for its leadership in driving
                                             collaboration with industry; only by working together can we meet the
                                             challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. In responding to Government’s
                                             innovation agenda, Rockwell Collins envisages a future in which technological
                                             advancements from the commercial sector will increasingly be leveraged by
                                             military customers, enabling us to bring solutions quickly to the Defence market
                                             segment at lower cost.
                                               Through different thinking, we’ll find new applications for old technologies. But
                                             this is nothing new. Indicative of our nation’s ‘can-do’ mindset, our Australian
                                             operations are renowned within our global enterprise as a hotbed of innovation.
                                             This also reflects the openness of our relationship with the ADF. We believe that
                                             the closer we get to our customers, based on commitments we make to one
                                             another, the greater the benefit for all involved. We’re up for the challenge.
