Lighting Pre Show Lighting:
Romantic mood, hanging light bulbs that
gently sway casting moving shadows on the stage
to create feeling of anticipation.
The warm and romantic atmosphere lulls
audiences into safety and thinking that this is just
like any other ordinary romance story, but it is not. Romantic Hanging Bulbs
Lighting during the show:
Using backlights, we want to create shadows for
each actor on stage that faces either side of the
audience at all times. This helps audience to feel
like their view of the stage is intended, to
counteract the cons of traverse seating and feeling
like one’s view is the “wrong side”.
Backlights
We will also be using coloured shadows to add
another dimension of effects that we can play with
to enhance the experience of emotions portrayed.
