Staying Safe in the Summer Heat Flick 'n Float with Moana!
No matter the number of years one has experienced an Arizona
summer it is wise to revisit common sense tips to remain safe.
• Drink at least 2 liters of water per day.
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
• Apply sunscreen to exposed skin.
• Eat small meals, and eat more often.
• Avoid strenuous activity or working in the heat.
• Stay indoors when possible.
• Take regular breaks when engaged in physical activity
on warm days.
• Never leave infants, children or pets inside a parked vehicle.
• Take advantage of free air conditioning by visiting locations
like shopping malls or the library.
How You Can Help Others
• Donate healthy snacks, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, lightweight
